Default Oh well....

doesn't look like my block is going to be fixable, have 1 more option to try and failing that I think I am going to part it out. Since I am out of work next week I can't afford to have it fixed professionally and I certainly can't afford to rebuild it. Going to mull it over on my last trip but I am getting sick of the bull, probably swap in a stock motor and sell mine for parts. Either way that is probably it for this season, another year in the garage.

if you have your stock block can't you just put your internals in your stock block?

stock block has bored .010 over, pistons won't fit. we'll see what happens

My 6.0 is cheaper than new pistons.. LOL

Seriously that sucks man. I hope you do find a way to fix it.

Well after 3 hours of frustration the piece is re-attached, we couldn't get our hands on a 220V welder so I don't know if it will hold up, just have to see I guess. The new starter has a much larger surface area where it contacts the block so that should help also.

Any chance you could kick the starter over before putting it back in?
