So, weather says we're in the 20-25" range for snow this week and tonight the truck decides to puke the tranny. I can't win.

At least I know what I'm doing his week. So much for digging out the 68 tomorrow....

could always get a rental for the week lol. its what im gonna have to do when i get home in a couple weeks. no way im takin either car out lol. going truck shoppin when i get home lol

Nah, I dug the jeep out of it's snow bank this morning. It's weird, I think it missed us. So far it's been running ok. Course I also kicked it's ass getting it out lol.

Either way today I checked in with someone out my way who commented "if you ever need a tranny for that truck.." back when I bought it. He has a parts truck with a 6 month old reman trans in it he's pulling out for me in the next couple days.
And while I'm at it since it needs a head gasket anyhow and I'm half way there with the trans out I'm gonna swap in the lt1 I have sitting here too while I'm at it. Screw it, do it once, do it right, and I should have a nice tow vehicle/parts runner when I'm all said and done

I had to do the encoder motor in my truck but im in the 5-10 inches of snow range. I want the 20-25 inches!
