What do you guys think of Camaro Heaven? Anyone who has been there or done business with them. They seem very hard to get a confirmation whether they do/don't have a part you are looking for over the phone. Seem to get a "come up and check yourself" reply whenever I call and its about an hour away for me. I've never been there myself I kind of want to go up and check it out sometime. I called them today because I'm looking for 4th gen rear disc brake brackets and they were like uhhh idk call monday.
http://www.camaroheaven.com/index.htm Lets get a feedback thread goin.

Yep, dealt with them, ugh, about 10 years ago when I was putting together my other 87 bird.
My take then was they had pretty much everything rare for a third gen, but, they wanted all the money for it. I spent over a grand back then but got everything I was looking for at the time.

I've done a lot of business with them in the past. when I was first dealing with them they only did first gen, then they bought out someone that dealt with later generations
I never had a complaint with them. I had only been to their old location, but if you ever went there in person, you would see why they they have a hard time knowing their inventory. Even when they were smaller and just dealing with earlier iron, their stuff was spread out in over at least 4 different lots (plus stuffed in every crevice behind buildings too) and at least 4 or 5 different multiple level buildings and barns I don't think that it's from them not wanting to help anyone, it's just like calling most regular boneyards. you get much better service face to face, than just being a voice on the other end of a phone Maybe I'm different than most, but when it comes to buying used parts, I would much rather make a day out of it and go look at, touch and pick out the stuff on my own then hoping some guy picks out a part that he hopes is satisfactory to me. i'm sure if they are giving you a higher quote over the phone, they are pricing it at their highest possible point. When you go there in person, you can see a bunch of the same part in different conditions that you could always work a different price on. Just my experience. Not saying that you should go by them, but I'm just trying to give you another way to look at it |
