Kill one, 4.3 v6 jimmy. No need to go into detail. lol

Kill two, both cars had a passenger, following a friends red wrx on the highway.. mods: stage 2 cobb tuned, Turbo back exhaust, down pipe, 18psi. (Think thats it)

Line up at about 50mph, he starts honking, hes not brake boosting. third honk we floor it, his turbo takes a second to spool and I get a car on him and hold it to about 90. Let off cause we were coming up on traffic.

Only run we got in cause he was going shopping and I was heading home. Didnt think to record it.

Not a super serious race but our cars are equally fast. If I don't get him before his turbo spools I cant pull on him, but he can't pull on me either. So unless he misses a gear were dead even every time. Fun tho.

There is one 4.3L Jimmy out there you better look out for, it says "Typhoon" on the side

what's funny is my friend has a stock jimmy, and we looked into it, all we could find is the typhoons had forged pistons and turbo with 6psi over the stock 4.3. Even with 6 psi I can't picture then being very quick unless its a 5 speed with awesome gear raitos. We were talking about turning his into a typhoon haha

The Syclones ran high 12's/ low 13's stock. The Typhoons ran mid/high 13's I think. You have to remember, this was the early 90's when these came out. That was fast then.

I would have to see it run a high 13 I think. 14+ seconds I could see, sub 14s I find hard to beleave. Its heavier and even with the turbo puts it into the relm of stock lt1 power. Id take my chances against a STOCK one. Modded i could sure see some crazy times and power Im sure.

I murdered a 5.slow last week, wasnt even a challenge lol I talked to him after, he told me he was buried, I was surprised, cuz i didnt think he was, i thought he let off lol
