You guys had some shitty luck at this show in the past. I never had to pay extra for parking or anything. Only the grandstands which you didnt have to pay for it was optional. Also never had bottles thrown at me. Maybe because I am a native lol... Ill be at Lime Rock, hope someone goes and tells me how it is.

I went and seems much better than the wooster location.
Burnouts with option for free style is a nice feature.
paid once and didn't see anyone paying for any thing else.

Were there lot's of "grocery getters" like there were in Worcester? I figured there would be, because they used to say they weren't even allowed there, but they still showed up. Now in CT they were advertising that "ALL CARS ARE WELCOME".

What went on at the end of the day, after the show was over? The best part used to be downtown after the park got out.... That is, until they lost their host hotel and all the craziness started 4 or 5 years ago

Any pics?

Was on the honeymoon all last week and didn't get a chance to make it. That and I didn't really care much to check it out because something was just telling me in the back of my head that it would've been an epic fail.

After being nickel and dime'd to death in the previous shows years I have seemed to have lost interest in it. Pay to park @ Worcester Voc Tech, entrance at the gate for myself, my wife and our daughter who is under the age of 4. Oh you wanted to check out downtown, guess what, now pay again to get in there for all 3 of us.

I doubt any of it will change with Moscoffian running the show. Maybe it was better the first year out, but give it time and he will shit all over it there as well as what was done in Woostah.

That is all...

I went for a few hours as a spectator and only had to pay $12 and that included everything. One thing that was nice is there is plenty of seating at the track so everybody can see the burnouts and they let people do whatever they wanted on the track.

I have now seen plenty of pics from the show and I'm glad I didn't go.

As far as the show went, it looked to be to many daily drivers mixed in with the show cars. You would have a couple of 'show worthy' cars in a row and then maybe a regular stock new Chevy Blazer next to them. That happened way to many times.

Then if you go to the show's actual Facebook page, they don't even have a dozen show car pictures.

My friends that were in the show, said they couldn't even get a show schedule until well after the thing started. For someone who has been running a show for that many years, that is totally unacceptable.

I wouldn't be surprised if they try it one more time down there, but I think that will really be his swan song

Yeah there wasn't much in the way of "show" cars compared to years past. There was a bunch there but definitely not to the old days at the parks number.
I did like how they had the freestyle burnouts and drag racing set up. Was cool having 300ft drags pretty much all day long. (And speaking as someone who helps run the burnouts there it was way easier this way at the track).
I'm curious to see what next year brings. I don't think it was a total wash but was definitely a way different feel than before.

I definitely go with the car and participate next year.
I wanna do the freestyle burnout with the wife in the car!
I wanna see her piss her pants before I recover the seats lol.
