Figured id share some cool pics and some of the stuff that got changed this year............
after a great year of racing last year i pulled my heads to massage them a bit more and found this after i pulled them off............i knew my PTV clearance was around .027 cold with my valve lash tight (around .006) ......apparently it was close enough at high rpm to just rub off the carbon on the piston.......no contact though just some shaddowing........lifting up the head .004 to give myself a wee bit more clearance.....springs tested good so valve float isn't a concern... ![]() motor out just for some inspection and to fix a spark plug hole....... ![]() little bit of header carnage.....nearly put the car on the bumper at the end of the year down in maryland......came down a little hard cause i back peadeled it a bit to keep it from tearing the bumper off......easy fix though.... ![]() pic of the 9 sec slip.... ![]() ......ill post up a few of the heads when i get them back this week.........its a TFS CNCd head flowing WELLLLL over 300 cfm......
