Ran a Corvette at the track with them, they are def sticky but they are also def not drag radial sticky. I'd still go with them hands down over about any other tire out there. For the price you are not going to find a tire that can do as much as well. But 1.6 60ft times are not gonna happen IMO. Also having talked to Nitto they are absolutely not designed to run on low air so do not deflate them at the track. They also don't need to be heated up so if you go that route just clean em off, otherwise you are just wasting tire. Also make sure your buddies aren't using the NT-05 DR, there is one out there and it is going to be alot better at the track

Oh i dont have any buddies running them, just reviews i read on discount tire. They were refering to the street tire. Im not going to be launching hard enough to cut 1.6s even with a tire that can handle it. I cut a 1.8 on the 555s in the camaro and that was the best. consistantly was 1.9-2.0. The idea is to get it running a 9" and that wont be til next season (probably end of) anyway in which case ill be due for a DR/slick upgrade. Keeping what youve said in mind they still sound like the route i want to go, glad to hear something positive about them from someone i know.
