Mike is trying to get it done by Spring. Hopefully it'll be done.

Most of the Dynacorn sheetmetal fit A-OK, except for the rear quarters. There is a big gap in the trunk spacing that they will fix by cutting it and welding in a piece of sheetmetal. They have been screwing things together for fitting and then will start welding everything up. The only piece welded so far is the rockers.

I saw Jeff's 68 in the spray booth and it's been primered. It looks GREAT. Also, THANKS for the parts Jeff. Mike is going to use all of them.

Glad I could help! I was at the shop today and I'm getting all giddy about my car (68 convertible L30/M20). It's ready for final wet sanding. Mike says it should be painted by the beginning of next year. Then the reassembly begins. I'm having them install the bumpers, windshield, all exterior emblems & trim, then the restored top frame & a new top. I don't want to risk any damage to the new paint by doing it myself. Cheap insurance I guess (well, not cheap, but worth it).

Anyhow, I checked out David's car while I was there, and it is essentially brand new. I bet you could count on one hand the number of original body parts used! It is a sight to behold.
