I think what snowing was saying - don't fight ect when people give suggestions or ideas.
The intake didn't make power for a reason. The car does not need injectors at 390rwhp. Abt is not a good ls head porter. More than likely this is why the car was limited on power before and why it didn't gain with the intake.

So, if timing and fuel are on, it is what it is. Done

Not to sound like an asshole but that was kinda ignorant... I'm not that smart when it comes to these cars yet so alot of my knowledge comes from picking people's brains on here. He's just doin the same even though he more than likely knows a shit lOad more than i do already.
Thanks man. I know where hes coming from though, i just know my car lol i just finished building the damn thing and it goes like hell. I just dont see how after 2500 miles changing to the ls6 lost power

I hear ya. I just thought those heads would be good for a bit more power. Maybe ill save up for a good set of heads and redo them.
Btw the injectors were at 100% duty cycle

I think theres a reason the intake isn't making more power...maybe you should investigate it and question things that may affect it.....that is all

The injector duty cycle is a calculation from the tuning perameters. Stock injectors can handle 440-450 rwhp on a dyno jet. I just did a car that made 435rwhp on stock injectors. So, in other words the 100 percent duty cycle is false.

New heads would be needed because they are probly already hogged out in the wrong areas. We see this alot with ported heads.
I bet just switching to cheap tsp 5.3l 2.5 heads would put you past the 400 mark easilly.

Now you just got what you got. I see no problem with it.

Yeah i guess youre right. The heads must not be able to flow well enough. Id go with 5.3s but dont wanna bump up compression because i eventually wanna boost it. We have a bone stock besides rear mount turbo and injectors trans am pushing 450 rwhp with stock manifolds, intake, even EGR at SMG lol

same problem i had. shit ton of mods and Crap ported heads. Ported doesnt always mean better. and i bet the better intake has stalled the air in the intake port. causing more problems then helping. i Still would stop by Dons. have him go over everything.

If i was going to Doctor A. and kept having the same issues and not getting the results i wanted id go see Doctor B. Just for a second opinion at Least!
