I remembered seeing a picture of it and I just went back and checked. It looks great! Are you getting a trailer at some point? You mentioned towing your car to the track.

Have you ever researched inspection markings? It seems like a lot of restorers get carried away and the term used for this is "inspection graffiti". I'd like to get pictures on a few common chassis inspection markings that most first-gens would have had. Have you seen anything like this? I've done some searching on camaros.net and camaros.org but I think I'm going in circles.

David-
I have done some light research on the topic. I'm actually still trying to decide if I want to put any markings back on my car. All I found on mine was the P, B & T markings along with some white crayon markings on the engine. Other than that, the 160,000 miles of Connecticut driving did away with almost everything else on my car. Anyhow, back to the question. I've never seen any SPOT regarding correct inspection markings for 1st gen cars. (SPOT = single point of truth.) Your best bet is to clean each original part very carefully, then see what you find. The original markings may be very faint. You can also check out the pictures on the Lucas Restorations site for reference. I don't know if what they do is 'correct', but they are supposed to really know their stuff. -Jeff |

Super easy to find as a reproduction part. Heartbeat City has them for $6.95, part number INT-2333.
It looks like the clutch pedal is missing the horizontal trim piece and it should look like this: ![]() It looks like I have to order 2 of INT-2333.
