That is why my cobalt has Blizzaks on ALL 4 wheels. That car is awesome in the snow.

I like FWD in the snow. But yes nothing beats AWD with snow tires

AWD only helps you get moving, it wont help you turn or stop. To improve all three you need good winter tires. If I had to pick FWD or RWD in the snow I'd pick FWD, just because understeer is not as dangerous as oversteer. But I'd take any vehicle with winter tires over any vehicle with all season tires in the snow.
