Had a customer call today and said they failed him because his windsheild washer/sprayer didn't work. Awesome, fails for that(because his tank is holding pure methenol) but passes the plug in test with a Cammed/blower setup.

That same inspector passed my Escort once with two bald tires and a bad ball joint. They are pretty lenient in general, I think they must have had some issue, maybe they passed a car with clear lenses and got in trouble for it?

The car is back at rents now, I'm gonna check the markers for DOT markings next time I'm over there. I need to figure something out cause there's no way I could go back to yellow now, the clear looks so much better. I think the next place I'm gonna try will pass it though.

why the hell do you need to get it inspected? thought they stopped doing "inspections" in CT unless it was a salvage, rebuild, or older than 1985/6 and hasn't been registered in more than a year?

the only thing one should be concerned with is emissions I thought?

I don't live in CT. Mass = safety and emissions. Emissions is only a plug in though.

To top it off, today I take my Civic for a sticker and they can't do it because the VIN doesn't much the number that the registry has on file. Something very similar to this happened last year with the Formula too. The fucking registry has set sail on the USS FAIL!!!
