by top end i mean piston rings wrist pin bearings and rod bearings. they are made for part time street use at best and on and off the throttle woods/racing. holding it at an rpm for a length of time heats the oil up in these motors and cause a ton of issues. an oil cooler helps. but still not a 100% fix.

I thought I wanted I bike more than an F Body at one point, now I love the car more than ever and the bike is for sale. Just food for thought. Plus your car is really nice.

If you think there's a good chance you'll regret it, don't do it. If you're 99% certain of no regrets....OK.

Yeah, you guys are probably right, looks like I wont be going through with this. And yeah, my car looks nice, but mechanically, it needs work, the friggin thing still idles goofy, it has a slow oil leak, which I have no idea where its coming from, front bumper needs to be repainted and it has high mileage. I cant really afford to put money into it, cuz I just started school. Plus these cars arent worth shit anymore. Idk, I guess I'm just ready for a change thats all.

Anytime you want you can bring your car up to worcester and we can take a peek and see where the oil is coming from and track down the idle problem. One less thing to worry about then lol
