Been spraying my ss for a long time. I bought the car with 55k on it and put the 150 wet kit on almost right away. The car now has 150k and is starting to get tired but like Don said you need to do it right. Hell I just got rid of the stock pump for a racetronix 255 pump and hotwire kit.

That's the main reason I did the new pump.

Wet shot is easier and in my eyes safer. needs the bottle heater and rpm switch.

Either kit should be very good quality. Meaning no tiny solinoids ect. Wiring is extremely important with the correct relays ect.

Both kit's should run a new/bigger fuel pump setup.
What he said. Make sure it's set up with the safety switches.
Ever flagged the start of a street race where an ls1 car with a 150 shot and no window switch hiccuped on the starting line?
I have, and it wasn't pretty. Plastic intake+nitrous backfire= big fireball and nearly blowing the hood off. It was a shockwave I'll never forget.

Oh and do yourself a favor, just plan to set it up for at least a 150 shot. Once that nitrous bug bites those 100 horse jets won't be in there for long lol. Ask almost anyone who runs spray, I think they'll agree.

So something like this might be a safer route:

http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...3&product=2891

and is this a good idea, or just get a window switch. Im tryin to not losing timing off the bottle, just not sure if its worth the price, i think its around $300. I might just get it dynoed while spraying, save some money for a walboro and hotwire kit

thanks for all the replies, nice to get some real world answers.

Don, ill be contacting you in spring, I have all winter to piece together a kit, like bottle heater and such. Just wanna start now so I have everything for spring.

Start saving for a new tranny also lol judging from your sig i would do gears and a converter first it would be more fun and you wouldn't have to fill a 50 dollar bottle after a couple races.
