Here is a pic of under the hood and the wheel I want to use. I included the pic of the old engine as well...... the underhood dress up is still a work in process. The abs delete and fuel line relocate still needs to go in, amoung other things. The super charger is not back yet but I will post the pick once it comes back (I could not get it polished to the degree I wanted so I sent it out to get done).

Edit.....can't get the damn photo off my Ipad so here is an older pic but it will give an idea as not many shinny parts have been added since this pic.

Wen you say track you mean auto x, circle, or quarter? If quarter mile lowering it the wrong way will drastically hurt the quarter mile times.

So body color engine bay it is.

Still need more imput on the wheels???

SS hood is nice, Sunoco hood is good too. Hard to decide between the two.

1-1.25 drop is also what I thought would look best too.

So no on the shaved handles??

As for lowering, what do you have for exhaust? I know with long tubes and stock height I have to crawl over mid to large speed bumps to avoid hitting them on the bottom of the headers. Also, how are the roads in your area?

My .02
I have Kooks LT headers. No Cats. Putting on the GMMG exhaust next week.

Roads are pretty good around here and this will not be a DD.

Get strano springs and koni adjustables with a set of relocation brackets and tubular control arms and pan hard bar for the rear.

Be careful of shaved door handles. Some places may not let you run the vehicle like that. Check where you are planning to race/autocross with it before you shave them.

Here is a pic I took tonight with the 20" wheels on the Camaro. The car will be lowered about 1.25 inches from is current height. The rear tires are 295/25/20 and they tuck in nicely. I won't get ass hurt so let me hear it, good or bad.

What is your honest opinion?
