Was thinking if it was the intake manifold, I got this Lingenfelter just sitting around collecting dust from the previous owner who never got around to installing it. Only bad thing is that the retard couldn't find any of the hardware or the gaskets and access cover for the bottom of it. So would have to get the gaskets and either modify the coolant tubes, or get some ls6 ones.
Been trying to find some flow charts for a comparison between the Weiand/Lingenfelter 300-111 and the stock LS1 intake and haven't had much luck. Guessing the numbers aren't that far out enough for them to really show off what the intake will do over the stock one? I have heard numbers as high as 25 extra ponies. Have also done a lot of reading based on the heatsoak over time vs the stock plastic one blah blah blah. Not sure that I put that much stock into the heatsoak theories because the car won't be sitting and idling in traffic much at all and I probably won't be doing any 1/4 runs here anytime soon.

I put one on my ss. I picked it up for cheep. I didn't really notice much over my ls6 intake. If you get the felpro gaskets just make sure they are lined up right or you will have a vaccum leak.

Only does it while idling after it's warmed up in the afternoons, when ambient temp is 60+ out. Or at least so I have noticed. Have also noticed that it does run on the rich side pretty much anytime, but getting good readings from the front o2's. both seem to run around .030 and .065 v respectively. But the short term fuel trims seem to be telling me otherwise. Not sure if it's trying to overcompensate for a vacuum leak, henceforth the st ft's spiking like that under idle.
Got me stumped for sure right now, but at least got the car washed and a fresh coat of Meguiar's on her this weekend.

O2 volts are a funny thing. narrow bands suck. when they are to rich I.E. wet fuel/soot on them they read lean(low volts). and the pcm picks it up as LEAN and adds more fuel compounding the problem. bet you have a K&N filter? cleaned the MAF?

Paper filter, k&n is too oily for my tastes and have heard horror stories of them coating the MAF. Just cleaned the MAF like a month ago anyways, just to be sure also cleaned the iat as well.
