there made of matted poly based thread. basically plastic in cloth form. Thats what happens. Good Call Daemon!

stopped in @ Costco picked up the replacement. fits ok and we'll see how it performs later today. but I'm re-ordering a custom coverking. they just look and fit great, just dont think $200-300 on a cover that I may destroy in the future is worth it... lol

yeah the really good ones are a tephlon-felt combo that you can wash/dry, and repel almost everything. The rest use cheaper plastics.
