Yep. It's supposed to be on there, but sometime between Jan 1969 and Dec 1969 someone took it off.

I'm still buying small last minute items. Today, I was scrambling trying to find an original console gauge cluster cover. Mine is cracked in two spots.

I've got one coming in from Steve's Camaro Shop in California. Steve Reinero's site is: www.Camaro-Shop.com. He is very reasonable on his pricing and has a lot of inventory. I wish I found this guy two years ago. I could have saved myself a lot of FleaBay headaches.

I was trying to avoid it since it scratches the heck out of a pristine paint job, but since they were on originally they are going back on. I have a NOS pair that I picked up about a year ago.

Thanks Frank! 3 business days. It has to be in the trailer on Wed so we can leave at 6 am on Thursday. 6 hour drive and it has to be in it's spot by Thursday no later than 3 pm (I should double check the time).

It's going to be tight. One way or another, the car will be there. The only former owner that will definitely be there has a major issue due to agent orange and said that one of the things on his bucket list is seeing his old Z. One way or another, the car will be there.

Thanks Frank! After I posted, I sent the pictures to the entire group of former owners (except for 1 guy who doesn't have email).

The one guy who always said he would be going emailed me back about 5 minutes ago:

"That car is beautiful!
I am making plans to be there. Please keep me updated as I will not come unless you are going to be there. It will be so great to finally meet you and see part of my history restored!"

Even if it's in a million fucking pieces...One way or another, the car will be there.

Honestly I was going to try to talk you out of trying to rush the car to have it ready for this show but after reading that I changed my mind. That will be really cool. That guy's mind will be blown when he sees this car.
