370/400 in an LS1 is a stock 01-02 motor and a small cam, with the GM hot cam I made 385/387, just FYI, probably cost about $3500.00 for the whole thing

it because they think they are faster for less money. wich may be the case. but i dont give a rats ass about the LS1's i have an LT1 thats far from stock and need better heads to make the power i want wich is FAR less then buying and building an LS car so STFU about the god damn LS1's already. this thread is for ME to get ideas on doing a whole car swap. NOTTTT a motor swap!! and I Love You Kevo!!!

i still dont see your point. my car has run a best of 12.9 at 114.41. if i wasnt scared of grenading the rear end id have put QTP's on it and run 11's i dont give a shit about the LSx for fuck sake. i have my 396 im happy with it shut up.

Fuck ls1's I grew up around the SBC all my childhood and its just my cup of tea I have plenty of LT1/sbc parts laying around so I stick tothe sbc because of my massive old school parts collection. stfu about ls1's we know they are a better engine than the LT1's thanks for edumacating us on that but you gotta make with what you got not seek something to fit in with the crowd. I cant wait to eat all the slow ls1's on here with my carbureated SBC
