My buddy has had his wired in with his headlights for 4 years now never had a problem. Didnt know it was illegal hmm.

Have you thought about upgrading to a better bulb? Dont know if yours are sealed beams i think they are though.

he says he already has the silverstars in them...which are brighter but not a huge improvement

HUH??
4700K is the max before white goes into the blue spectrum range, where the light may appear brighter, but actaully dispereses more.
Nope.

WHAT??
That is so wrong as there are cars, my wifes 96 Sebring vert comes to mind, that the fogs come on with the headlights.
It is supposed to be illegal to have have fogs on with high beams though which is why they shut off when high beams are switched on.

I meant going from say a 9006 to a 9007 type bulb. It's not that hard to convert and the light output is much better.

Technically, it is illegal to use foglights in non inclimate weather (in mass at least). My buddy had 4k?, or lower BRIGHT yellow hid fogs in his civic and he got a ticket for just that one night sitting in a parking lot with a big group of hondas getting ready to do some serious vtakking. Sooo apparently you can get a ticket for it because it is in "the rule book," but it can be easily fought and won like he did the week after. Cops in my area hate hondas and its hilarious. Speaking of aftermarket fog lights, I was thinking about putting Hella 90mm projectors in my fog light openings, ditch the stockers and pop my mercedes D2S 6k bulbs in them, but I'm not sure if it will look good, or completely kill the look of the LT1 frontend? I would be able to see like 80% better at night tho with just those for fogs lol.

Hey 84ta406, what kind of projector housings are those you are talking about? like i said in my last post only thing stopping me from spending 100 bucks on hella projector housings is i dont wanna but them and be disappointed if it looks ugly. if alex dont want em ill take them

and ps again not being an ass but it is impossible to adjust the lights so that they arent blinding oncoming drivers there is just no way around it it is the design of the stupid sealed beams =( unless you point them like straight down into the bumper lol then you are just using the indirect lighting from that reflecting off the bumper to see down the road, which still is prob better than stock hahaha

The ones I have are Hella projectors. They have the adjusting plates with them. I'll grab a pic for ya.

Will those fit in the factory foglight openings on a 93-97 Formula? If so I'd like to try them out.
