There is alot of things to make a turbo car reliable. I'm actually surprised for someone that drives easy to do a turbo kit. The boost comes in full at 1/4 throttle(meaning full power at 1/4 throttle) unlike a centrifical blower that is gradual.

No scaring. Just a fact on how they work. I never has to floor my truck. 1/4 throttle was just like WOT.
