I have to admit that the Ash Gold has taken some time to really grow on me. To me, colors like Ash Gold & Olympic Gold are pure 60's. It doesn't get any better!

Jeff,

Do you ever get out to Marks Cruise night?

It has been a long winter and I am anxious for spring. If it wasn't for the salt on the roads, I would be out at night in the Stop & Shop parking lots doing donuts with the 68.

Also, it is great to have another 1st gen on the site!

David

Wow! That is nice. Do you drive it in the winter?

When you get your 68 finished we'll have to get Dawg and do a combined Camaro trip to Marks!!!

I totally agree. I am not so sure I would get used to the gold color.

Thanks. No, the Land Rover gets tucked away for the winter. It's too rare and I've got too much time & $$ into it.

I'll have to ease into the idea of taking the Camaro to Mark's. When the dust settles, I'm going to have a lot invested in just the body restoration (I'm sure you know this!!). I'll be very nervous to bring the car to Mark's. I would have to guard it the whole time.

For example, people like to knock their knuckles against the side of the LR for some reason - I guess to see what it is made out of. People also like to lean up against it and put their foot up on the front bumper and chit-chat. It's an old military vehicle, and the body isn't perfect and the bumpers are galvanized, but that's not the point. The point is that some people seem to be disrespectful of my vehicle and others. I've also seen people bump/scuff/ding some pretty nice cars there. Sorry to vent/rant, but that's the one thing that really bothers me about Mark's.

Ah. Totally understandable. Between kids (my own being one of them), dogs, and people leaning, it could make it real tough to have a good time.

I actually like the lemans blue Im just so sick of it being put on every thing though its like a song that you use to love then some commercial wrecked it for you.

but ya I hear you about some cruze ins I caught a guy leaning on my car last year I fliped a wig and told the manager of the cruze in and he told the guy that he has to leave due to he obviously has no respect for the cars. over all though people are real good up near me and I have no problems.
