They are still working on the doors. Before the door skins can be finally installed & aligned, they need to make sure that the front fenders (NOS) fit properly. To get the fit of the fenders correct, the cowl and the front windshield moldings & pillar moldings need to be temporarily installed. So, I dropped off all the moldings at the shop yesterday & today. Now I just need to let them do their thing.

Progress is definitely being made, just not always apparently forward. Once the door skins are on and alignment is complete, the body work will begin.

Not according to my wife! The kids don't care, because they're still too young to realize they're not going to college!!!

Jeff, In the April 2011 "Muscle Machines" page 8, there is a column with the writer thinking about painting his 67 Camaro Grenada Gold. I am looking forward to seeing yours after its painted!!!

For my kid, for college, when he was a baby I opened up a CHET 529 and every year around tax refund time I put a little money in. Hopefully when he is ready for college, technical institue, culinary institute or whatever I won't have to drain everything to pay for school. And if he doesn't go, I will be getting a 2021 Lingenfelter Camaro!!!

Yeah, me too! Ash Gold sure is a funky color. Mike actually wants to get started on the paint matching. I can't believe it! I brought him my original trunk lid and part of a door skin to use for matching (they were painted with lacquer back in the 80's that was a perfect match).

On a sad note not related to this we had a 69 camaro burn yesterday in our town! Engine fire I believe. I know who owns the car so I'll find out what I can.

Sorry to hijack David!

Not good. Do you know what type of engine? Any details on how the fire started would be appreciated.

Heard about it yesterday. I think it was another project car for him. He has a nasty 68 that a lot of people here saw down at Don'd dyno day last year. Like I said I'll see what I can find out. I do know it was a convertible.
