Yep. I think you are right. I didn't realize the extent of the problems and it is not a simple repaint project.

Another problem is I am getting stir crazy and have been daydreaming about buying another first gen. I have even started buying parts off fleabay to build another 69 L72 427 but don't even have a car for the engine to go into.

Roger that Dawg....work on what I got, and get it finished first!!! The garage is too damn cold to work on the 68 hood right now though. Plus it's not easy being obsessive compulsive with neurotic tendencies. I went to Litchfield to get a casting #3931065 water pump today. A guy on camaros.net had a few for sale.

let me know what your looking for I got a few reliable people around with parts.
looking at the pics again and i hope the body shop will repaint all the interior panels aswell?
some look shot.

Both rear wheel wells, one rocker panel, and the floor pans will get replaced. The rest is in perfect condition.

Terrible! When he took the rear glass out, he found a lot of rot. Then he found the same thing in the front. He is going to be taking the roof out too.

gees by the time your done youll have new car from the factory. a lot of work but it will be a really nice car when its done.
