Default Foliage cruise

The Pioneer Valley Firebird Assn will be joining forces with the Pioneer Valley GTO Assn. for their annual foliage cruise, I have gone a few of them, always a good time. All are welcome.

Here are the particulars for the foliage cruise on Oct. 25, weather permitting.

Our destination is the Railroad Museum of New England, home of the Naugatuck Railroad, in Thomaston, CT, where we will be taking a one hour 15 minute, 20 mile round trip train ride in a restored vintage 1920s motor coach. The museum is going to have a designated area, on blacktop, where we can park as a group. The area will be coned off for our exclusive use, and they will have someone watch over the cars while we are on the train ride. Train ride tickets $12 per person.

We will meet for breakfast at Partners Restaurant, 485 Springfield St, Feeding Hills, MA at 8:00 AM.
Depart Partners at approximately 9:30 AM.
First stop Granville Country Store, Granville, MA, approximately 10:00 AM.
Depart approximately 10:15 AM.
Head west on Rt. 57 to the junction of Rt. 8 South, passing thru the junction approximately 10:45 AM.
Proceeding south on Rt. 8 to Thomaston, CT, with a pit stop or two, along the way.
Train departs Thomaston Station at 2:00 PM.

After the train ride we will be heading home, north on RT. 8 to Connecticut Rt. 20 East into East Granby, CT, (by Bradley Airport), where we will be stopping to eat at Gio's Restaurant (pizza, grinders, hamburgers, pasta available), with good parking.

For those people who might not be able to meet us for breakfast, maybe you could meet up with us along the way

Allot are going to the Ft Adams car show on the 25th.
We've only been talking about it since last month on the other now defunct board!
You & Dawg should check the events page more often!
