LT5 Build
Talk about a unicorn!! I saw a C4 ZR1 for sale in Hyannis recently and I think they wanted $17k. Oddly enough I had no desire to own it just because of the operating costs and who knows how much parts will be. And you can't really do anything to it except keep it in a garage. Can't mod it.
But to build an LT5?? This is and was the real unicorn from my childhood. The dyno video sounds amazing! It's just incredible to finally see one of these engines built and to see the specs. I wouldn't mind another third gen some day. I miss the TPI stuff and wouldn't mind a period correct build. Anyway. It's a good read!! So VTech was originally a GM/Lotus design. http://www.corvetteonline.com/tech-s...s-alive-again/

Lots of guys do mods to those cars. Imo its a waste to keep anything a garage queen, I know a guy that has a ZR1 low on crazy suspension setup, HRE forged wheels custom exhaust and all kinds of bolt ons. C6 / C7 killer lol
