i never got why one would spend SO much money on one card. you can run 2 $100 cards SLI or Crossfire-X and have more throughput then one monster card. or even better the new 3 and 4 card SLI or Cross.

Thats just my idea anyway.

i want the new architecture of the AM3+/990FX chipset and want to utilize all that it has to offer. So running a Phenom or Older CPU wont be for me. i use my computer more for video/audio editing type of shit and what i have no takes SOOOOO long to render an AVI/MP4 to DVD format. so thats more my end goal.

Cause SLI or crossfire is a pain. Ive looked into it trust me. ill spend alot on my video card and use it for the next 5 years like i did with my 8800gt lol plus not needing a special mobo with enough slots saves costs.

But i do understand why you want to have newer shit, for me, i get the performance i want in unorthodox ways for gaming lol

Another good point, hdmi out is awesome, not a big difference between "lcd computer monitors" and "lcd tvs" anymore.

yeah problem with that is its WAY cheaper to get a long VGA cord to run to my TV then a $100 35 ft. HDMI cord. But the clarity will do wonders!!!! my video card died maybe 2 years ago and the only thing that was available for off the shelf AGP 8x(yeah...) was this shitty Nvidia 6200 gt! Trash of a card even after the overclocking from BFG. and honestly after the FX series of cards. price for price ive been happier with ATI/AMD over Nvidia Lately.
