tire question
I was wondering how good do you think bfg g force sport tires are? I got a price for $150.00 per tire mounted and balanced. And also includes disposal of old tires.

According to TireRack.com Surveys they are nothing special....
Since they come in such limited 16" Sizes I'm guessing you're talking 17", and that's not a bad price but ask if they can get the BFG KDW IIs.... They will be a little more but are a much better tire.

Another CT guy with a tire thread?!?!?!?
Those tires are more towards the budget end of the spectrum as opposed to the KDW IIs. But if I remember right Boomer used to run them when his car was just bolt ons and was able to cut 1.7 60' times somehow. |

The reality is a tire is a tire. If your daily driving it they are all gonna do what you want them to so just get the best deal.

I ended up with a set of 17"s out the door mounted balanced and put on the car for $700
They matched a $ from another shop with better rubber for what I needed. So far i'm happy, we'll see how they feel at the end of the summer.

the BFG's are decent. if you get em and afford em and they fit you budget and taste/look Go for em!! like john sed. a tire is a tire. unless your going high end. subtle differences in the low end of the field wont be noticed.
