Default Door panels

Does anybody know of anyone who sells the door panels for a 4th gen firebird? I got the infamous cracked door panel and I'd like to get it fixed.

Same reason the dash pads crack. Long term heat exposure+cheap GM plastic=crack.

If you plan on fixing: http://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance...or-panels.html

If you want a replacement I don't think they make reproductions but eBay and craigslist are your best bets

One reason the door panels crack is that the inside of the door flexes when the window is rolled all the way down, and that causes the door panel to flex. Stopping the window just short of the bottom of the track can prevent this.

There is also an issue with the staples that hold the weatherstripping on the door panel. If it is not perfectly straight when the weatherstripping is stapled in place it is under stress and can crack.
