Default So many sub forums

I was just thinking it might be worth while to merge some of the sub forums just to eliminate clutter. I think pretty much all the tech forums could be merged, for example. There's not much point in having lots of different forums with very few posts. Just a thought.

For example, why not take all the tech forums (SBC/BBC, Pontiac Motors, LT1/TPI/TBI, LSX Powertrain etc), and combine them into one forum and call it Tech. If it becomes too cluttered in the future you could create sub forums as needed. But right now I think it would make more sense to have all that information in one place.

yeah i dont see it like that. no need to move it all around rearrange it then later have to put it all back. Plus regardless of how much or little we have. if i scan threw and see a new or even old thread in Say the TPI/LT1 section and i want to get back to it Quick id rather not have to go fishing or use the search if i dont have to. Maybe im wrong?

im with pizza on this one the more it is broken down the easier it is to scan thru the threads you want vs. dont want.

I'd have to agree with irockkidz28 and pizza. I think most guys, especially new members, that come on would actually be a little overwhelmed with one "Tech" sub forum, rather than one where they can see the car that they have and look at tech info for it. Maybe a Misc Tech section but that would probably end up with too many posts that belong in specific tech sections. Those are just my thoughts on it tho

ya im hoping the way things are going we will need the space thats why when we set the site up we did it like that for a reason. I dont see it being cluttered. Ive seen worse.
