Default My first personal car project.

Well I will start off by saying, hello my name is Steve. Back in March I bought my first car, a 1994 Camaro Z28. Like most kids that grew up around cars, I wanted a nice looking and fast car as my first car. So last October I started working at Stop n Shop after school 5 days a week. I kept saving up my money until this bad larry pooped up on craigslist...

Guy wanted $3500 but I managed to talk him down to $2500

Guy delivered it to my house at night but heres some pictures the next morning:

Well needless to say...

But after a buff and wax this is what I ended up with:

lol backyard photoshoot with cellphone.

at this point, it was time to start throwing some coin at it

Inserts

SS spoiler

Onyx Emblems

Now it was time to start the body work! Had lots of little pings on the quarters and a massive dent on the rocker.

PRIMER:

Sanded:

and for shits and gigs

Fenders needed extensive repair:

Primed:

Rocker dent fixed:

And primed:

And the rest of the car sanded down:

New bumper cover test fit:

Lots of parts

Bought used filler panel and filled it in:

At this point I was ready to paint the jambs:

Now for the car!

Sealer:

Paint:

Morning after:

Shaved berger and SS spoiler

On car:

Rear bumper and fenders:

On car:

Finally hood and front bumper painted and installed:

Also added was BMR polished radiator cover, clear corner lenses, SLP license mount bracket, sun visor delete.

Car was changed from Bright Red to Victory Red and I personally think it makes a big difference.

Upcoming plans are: lower, rims, CME single tip, and maybe some other things.

But yeah I started this thread on LS1Tech back in May and got a decent response from it so I figured I'd share with you guys (except LSX-Nation because i know he's seen this thread haha)

But anyways, thanks for reading and I'm looking forward to meeting some of you guys
