Didn't even think about the boost a pump but yeah I'd rather not cut the bucket apart since I'm building the car to corner and don't want to deal with fuel starvation when I'm out using it.
And I'm liking 3/8 hard line with something flexible to connect to the tank and to attach to the rails. Just wasn't sure if 3/8 would be large enough. I trust your opinion there though.
340 and boost a pump should hold 700.
If your building it to corner you shouldn't be going turbo. It's not a WRX with no torque.

I agree, first time you make boost in a corner you'll be backward into the woods

And while I agree with both of you if I were going to be competing with it or roadracing it hard I probably wouldn't.
But the car will realistically see 90-95% of it's time on the street and street fun is my main focus. If I could get heads/cam on a stock lq4 bottom end to put down 600 to the wheels, and be driveable, for around 2 grand I'd probably do it that way. But, for the power vs cost, I'm planning on playing with boost

If you guys have a better idea I'm all ears. Not buying parts for another week or two so it's no too late to turn back yet.

Your plan is fine. Just plan on it costing 2x's what you think.

Bringing this back up rather than start a new thread. 68 is on hold for now until I find time to completely restore the chassis.
However, so I have a toy this season I'm swapping a 5.3 into my 87 bird along with a t56.
Running an eBay gt45 turbo.
Already got 60lb injectors. Pulled the tank from our 95 when we parted is so I have an injected car tank (87 was carbed). It already has a walboro in it. Budget wise am I better off just doubling up the walboros? Only have to buy one pump that way instead of a pump and a boost a pump. I'm open though, just trying to decide the most cost effective route.

Another thing I forgot about, do I get a boost referenced regulator if I don't get the boost a pump? Or just add more pulse width to the injectors as boost comes up to compensate?
