Having the other COPO car in the pic is the icing on the cake.

That is a once in lifetime pic for the Z!

Congrats!
Now you can drive the Car right?

Thanks Justin!!!

The Camaro Nationals usually gets between 350 to 450 Camaros and Firebirds. It's a real mixed crowd of 1st to 6th gens and some of the cars are wild.

Not quite yet Dawg. There is a good chance that I might be invited to the Boston Cup.

Only 100 cars are invited and the attendance is supposed to be about 12,500 spectators: https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-boston-cup

That's awesome David, congrats! If I recall correctly you were expecting gold but not platinum correct?

Thanks Alex! Yes, you are correct.

There were a few things that I did not want to change and I wasn't sure how many points I could get back on things like the hood gaps not being perfect, since they were never perfect even off the assembly line.

So....I tried to get as many items fixed as I could. I'm pretty happy with how everything turned out!

I received great technical advice from Jeff68 (on this site), Mike Labrecque, Dale Murphy, and Chick Renn.

The formal invitation to the Boston Cup came in today.

The 69Z in with the Rolls Royce crowd should be real interesting.

I'm thinking that if I showed up with a mullet wig, ripped jeans and a joe dirt t-shirt, security would probably throw me straight up and into the air! LOL.

I hoping that one or two folks on the site might stop by including the world's greatest detailer....Smokinss. That would be nice!

Thanks Frank!!!

They get some real high end cars and I'll be from the "other side of the tracks", but I'm looking forward to showing the car there.
