Default Where the hell does this go?

Alright so my blinkers don't flash, so I bought a multi-function relay switch for my car and I have no clue where it goes. I know its under the dash and i unscrewed it but I couldnt find where it goes?!

Supposedly it goes under the right side of the steering column but I cant figure out where it goes!

Help would be great!

Do they come on just no flash? If so check all your bulbs and the flasher unit itself before changing the multi switch. Its under the steering wheel and column lock. Special tools required to remove both pieces. And you have to be comfortable with wiring because you have to pin the the conector yourself.

I believe its the flasher unit then. Lights up, no flash.

And there's no way I feel comfortable wiring anything haha

Do all the outside bulbs light up? If a bulb is out it won't flash. But it will light. If the flasher is bad it acts like a bad switch and nothing will light not even the dash. Do you have drls? They have been known to burn up fast. Check them if so.

Bulb lights up, doesn't flash. However the hazards work. No drls

If they light up it shouldn't be the switch. See if your car a digital or relay type flasher. If its an electronic then that has gone bad. If its a relay type it might be something else. Those usually fail open meaning no connection to the bulbs or indicators.

It's probably the silver flasher under the dash my 95's had to be replaced when I did sequential lights. Very cheap. Bottom right of steering column.

Although since you repainted your car it could be a ground issue.
