Default Getting back into the Game.

ive been out of the loop for some time now. used to Really know what was good bad and what to really stay away from.

So in your guys opinion what is THE BEST shit out there now? AMD Still king in the gaming world? Intel still run at 9 million degrees???? hahaha

looking into the new AMD FX 8150 Possibly the 8120 that Just came out. they are unlocked(over clocked to a new world record of 8.429 ghz) and are 8 CORE Yeah 8 cpu's on one die! so im thinking thats the one for my new rig. But intel? whatb do they have? seems they have gotten alot more geared towards business end and less towards us gamer geeks?

I like this!

Idk much about REALLY good current processors like the core iX but if you're considering an upgrade look into not super up to date AMD but current-ish....

I'm overclocking my Athlon2 x4 630 to 3.2 GHz pretty DAMN stable, designing 3D parts in a very heavy Pro Engineer program, on internet, handling multiple excel/word files and playing music. I never get any hang ups and I cant see the typical PC used demanding much more out of a PC than me. Its a very cheap processor too...

I also got 4G memory (now seems low) and Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 which hangles 3D animations like cake in ProE and SolidWorks and plays all my computer games and BluRays weeeee!

Total build cost was like $600 newegg build!

yeah but see. i dont want last years technology. everytime i build i build DAMN NEAR the best Mainstream system out there. and like my AMD Athlon64 i have now its still taking care of business 5 years old. i just recently installed a new 250gig SATA hdd. and my boar only supports 1.5Gbps transfer and its UNBELIEVABLE faster then my 300mbps EIDE. So i want a new board like that Crosshair V or the M5A99X Maybe the Sabertooth(seems more server board then gaming/Video Rendering) so i can buy the Best processor platform out there. from AMD!!!! i looked into Intel. Hahaha what a joke

AMD's new FX series of processors are unlocked first off. hitting record high clock speeds. and the comparable Intel I7 core is $1000!!!! Yeah the FX 8150 top dawg AMD is 350....... figure that one out..... Fuck Intel Paying for a Name!
