Exhaust opinions.
Just finished my complete rebuild. I added pacesetter midlength headers and y pipe, also cut out factory cat and welded a magna flow converter in. As for the muffler I'm still running the 80 series muffler that I put in years ago. Deffinitly time to ditch that muffler and get somthing new. I was thinking borla cat back.? I'm looking for a deep tone and a little more aggression. I'd like to hear different systems first before I bite the bullet. Thanks

I have the Borla 40474 muffler with a cut out before the axle. Here is a video from a few years ago.

Magnaflow usually has a deeper tone but not as loud. The Borla with an electric cutout in place of the plate would give you a lot of control of the sound. If you don't mind spending the money I would go that route.

I LOVE my Magnaflow. Great mellow idle without being too loud, but it screams when you get on it.
Nice and mellow on the highway too, if thats a concern. No drone at cruising speed. I was undecided on this for quite awhile, but am so happy I went MF. Add a cutout for when you want to be obnoxiously loud. |

I have the magnaflow cut-out setup. Like the guys already said its a very popular but it works. Your car can be nice and quiet with a nice deep tone or flip the switch and have it loud and raspy. I like it.
