2 point weld in's. Tubular prefered for the light weight. 3 point should only be used for alot of road racing.
Doing them on a 2 post lift is no problem if you know what your doing. |

What are the drawbacks about 3 point? I didn't think there was any. Except maybe if they got in the way of various things.

if you run a tunnel mounted short torque arm i think the 3pts are a really good idea.
