Your probably right, I mean my cars not some glamorous show car, but its in really good shape, and Im not looking to build a race car, just a quick, clean street car. Ive never taken this car to the track, and I dont plan on going alot, its more of a nice weekend cruiser at this point. So maybe I will go with the 3 point bolt ins.

2 point weld in's. Tubular prefered for the light weight. 3 point should only be used for alot of road racing.

Doing them on a 2 post lift is no problem if you know what your doing.

What are the drawbacks about 3 point? I didn't think there was any. Except maybe if they got in the way of various things.

if you run a tunnel mounted short torque arm i think the 3pts are a really good idea.

That's the point. Most people don't know what they're doing.
If you're not loading the chassis properly then you're welding the car twisted and properly loading the chassis on a 2 post lift is far more of a challenge than doing it on a drive on or a frame machine.
