new truck needs a tune
Hey I just picked up an 06 silverado 2500 6.0 4l80e. Black on black gray cloth interior but its a dog I need it tune so bad. Please let me know if u would have time to do so in the near future. Thanks 98hoe (aka ben) pics soon.

i dont think a tune is gunna help a 7500 pound truck move any faster with a 20 hp 6.0..... BAAAHAHAHA

in all honesty what would u be looking to gain? my plow truck got a 454 but dosen't have enuff power to pull a sick clown off a chair. maybe this is something i need done before the snow flies

The trucks pick up alot more throttle response and better shifting. You don't have to hit the gas as much to get moving. The government made the auto makers tune for the green house. Trucks run too lean all the time. By making them run richer they drive better and actually get better gas mileage.

no kidding, i would have never guessed they de-tuned them so much. don't be surprised if u see a blackcrew cab b4 the winters over. lol

Yea I am hopeing for the throttle resonse it has like zero now so anythings better. Ill have to find some time and call down to see when we an do it about how long would the tuning take just curious.

1-2 hr's to do.
We do alot of truck tuning even though that is not our market at all. Probly over 200 of them over the years. |
