Default Hit the track last wednesday

Mounted up a pair of old 26x11.5x17 ET street bias plys, got sick of waiting for my RTS wheels to show up haha. I thought they would suck considering theyre from 2007. I also have the viking front shocks in, this was the first time running the car with a tire and these shocks. Car is heavier now due to stock steel hood, 22lb DLS 3" steel driveshaft & stock catback, should be over 3700lbs. LS6 manifold is installed.

DA 1000' to 800' at the end of the night.

First pass, 18psi in the tires hot, 4K dump car bogged

1.848
8.033
88.70
12.437
112.43

Second pass, 18psi, 5k dump spun but kinda pulled the revs down

1.730
7.840
89.18
12.220
112.94

Third pass, 5k dump, missed third
1.710 60'
5.000 300'

Fourth pass, previous mph seemed down added tire pressure, 20psi hot, 2nd gear burnout over heated tires. 5k dump, spun, mph came up

1.832
7.893
89.39
12.258
113.42

Fifth pass, added another psi, 21psi hot. 5k dump

1.766
7.814
89.55
12.168
113.66

Sixth pass, added a little fuel, 2nd gear burnout, 5k dump, spun

1.837
7.857
89.60
12.208
113.75

Seventh pass, added more fuel, 1st gear burnout, 5k dump

1.737
7.774
89.59
12.130 < best ET of the night!
113.50

Definitely impressed with the viking shocks, car launches so clean now, way more consistent and much better 60's, cant wait to try it on hoosiers.

Considering the weight gain andthe stock catback hurting me power wise I cant complain. With the skinnies, hoosiers & a cutout I think it will be about 2 tenths quicker. Shooting for 11.60s all out this fall

gotta figure -1500 DA is very common in sept and oct, that will account for alot. i ordered a set of 15x4 and 15x10 weld rts wheels with tires ill save 70lbs over my current setup. I think the quick time pros will help me hit 1.6 as well. I might throw my spool in it.

in the spring it went 11.9 @ 115 -800 DA with the ls1 intake and a 1.78 60'

Nice times! Esp with a 6-speed that would be cool to get it mid 11s.
