Default New tire keeps leaking

I went to town fair tire in Brockton and got 4 brand new bfgoodrich g force comp 2 a/s put on the ol' T/A. I have American Racing 18" rogue wheels on the car. After a couple of days I noticed 2 of the tires were low. I brought it back a second time and the left front was still leaking. I brought it back a 3rd time ... same deal. As a last resort I emptied an entire bottle of green slime. No improvement. i have had the car for 4 years and it only goes out from april to november 9 so no salt/snow. The guy I bought it from also never drove it in winter. I had the car for 3.5 years with the old tires on it and never had this problem. Should I try going to another tire shop of just buy a new wheel. I jacked the car up and inspected the wheel for dents etc... it seems perfect. I am pissed cause I dropped over $600 Grrr...

sounds like corrosion around the bead of the tire. tire shop did not do a good job cleaning bead. have them break them all down again and prove to you they are good. there will be white flaky stuff were the tire meets the rim.

I hear ya. The only reason I went there is my company has a wholesale account. I got all 4 for $600 (245/40/18 front & 245/75/18 rear mounted and balanced. I would NEVER get an alignment there but figured how can they fuck up a simple mount & balance? I think I'm gonna somewhere else tomorrow morning to get that tire re-mount and balanced. Does anyone living in the area (Brockton) know of a reputable shop? I am thinking sullivan, firestone or Mays tire...

These tire DO grip like a mofo though. I was gona go with nitto 555's but changed my mind last minute. When I bought my car I has kuhmo ecsta's on it. I could easily spin the tire at will. With the comp's ( MUCH MUCH harder. I effing luv these tires
