Don I would front him if I could but he's in debt already this assclown is charging him $1k for pretty much nothing. diag camera to see that the reluctor wheel was bend, sent the car to a dealer to have a new ECU installed and reprogrammed, as well as a few other nonsensical crap knowing the kid just lost his job. I fear he's trying to keep my bro's car the scumbag way by holding it ransom. (meanwhile it sits in an open lot ready for me to tow it home).

I'd use credit to bail him out, but I owe on mine about what he'd need to get it all fixed, and even then he won't be able to drive it legally until the end of June.

Do what you will man once he gets his shit squared away your the first call I'm making.

You guy's made the choice on where to bring it. They charged you hourly to diagnos it. I don't think they ripped you off. Just a real bad decision on his behalf to bring it there in the first place. Now I would expect them to start adding storage charge.

I do to, plus I did tell him to wait. $600 in charges just for the computer and dealer fees and it never had a problem. He'll get it out of there soon enough, then we'll work on a plan from there. He just has horrible luck this year.
