Default a case of the blues

About 2.5 years ago, Jeremy, who worked with me and was my friend told me had stage 4 colon cancer.

He was the most brilliant machinist I have ever known. I could describe to him what I wanted and in a short time he could make it out of metal. He was high tempered and was an eloquent swearer, but he was definitely a brilliant machinist. He owned a 66 Chevelle and we would talk about cars for hours.

Anyway, his dad called me today and said he passed away yesterday. I told his dad about how highly I thought about Jeremy and that I have never met someone that could do the things he did. His dad cried and I did the best I could

I have been feeling both dizzy and a bit woozy for most of the day today.

Jeremy went through at least 50 chemotherapy's as part of an experimental program and was in the immunotherapy phase. I'm not sure why he was taken away. He has both a wife and 3 very young daughters. Sometimes, bad things happen and I don't know why.

So very Sorry for your loss of your friend David.
You and your friend will be in our thoughts today.
At lest you can take Solace knowing that he is most likely in a better place.
Cancer really sucks and I have lost many Friends and family in the last few Years causing me to push others away so as not to be hurt in the future.
But I realize we all have to live in the moment and enjoy the time we have on the Earth together. Death is a part of Life and we cannot change that.
I'll raise a glass to your Friend and Co workers memory.
If you wanna talk I'm a phone call away!

Cancer sucks, took my grandfather a number of years ago.

All you can do is keep on living with his memories and remember the good times you had, I'm sure he wouldn't want it any other way.

So sorry to hear David. Cancer is the most cold and heartless foe anyone could imagine. It just tears people's lives apart. Hopefully someday we'll find a way to beat it for good.
