itll take you less than a days work to fix the problem. Fix it then sell it. No one will give you want you want when in the description is says "if it starts" and like stated above good luck getting over 5k.

Yeah, I have to agree, not to sound like a dick or anything, your cars in real nice shape. But LT1's arent selling for shit right now, especially one that doesnt run. How much is the optical sensor? Cuz I can probably get you one for pretty cheap.

PCM frying it some short in wiring or something. its like a never ending diagnosis now I have to read a shitload more on trying to figure out why that would cause it. Or get another PCM and try that... I think theres something wrong with the PCM doing that.

will the car start at all now? if it still starts with starting fluid you never found the problem.

yes starts with ether. and yes I did find the problem. The optical sensor was toast in mine. I fixed it. Optical sensor died after it ran. Somehow the car killed it. I have a belief that it is the PCM. That's why I don't want to get a new opti... It WILL die after install. I'll get a brand new one start it up then try again and itll be back to square 1 only $400 more broke.

I'd get an opti from like autozone or somewhere u can bring it back put it in and see if it fries it or if it is just the old part u used. Stranger things have happened but why it is just breaking that is wierd to me. U said u checked the pcm grounds.

Yeah that's what I'm saying its weird. How the hell did it work then die lol. Theres no way that sensor got oil on it right after I started it. I'll post pics and a vid in my other thread later. I untangled my panties I don't wanna sell it... I'm stuck with this fucking heap.

i think hes making it all up. you did not find the issue if it still runs and drives on ether. the pcm did not FRY the opti if the car starts and you have No engine light for high or low res pulse. IT WAS NOT AND IS NOT THE OPTI. NEED I GO ON?
