How about this one? Bad car fax, owner says when he bought the car he was told it had 80K on it but previous owner had replaced the gauge pod and it was installed at 0 zero miles (had 1600 miles on the OD when he bought the car). The OD now has 7119miles. The seller said he had it sold but the when the buyer did a car fax it said it was over 300K miles (I find that hard to believe). He wants $5,000 plus I would have to get it shipped from OH. It is a real SS with a 6 speed and he has the stock white wheels that will go with the sale as well. Thoughts??

On the first car, since the number is between $7,500 and $9.500, they might be playing a game. If you are still in, tell them you can go to $8,000.00.

There is a very good chance you can still end up with it for a good price.

It looks clean.....and hopefully it is.

It sounds like a good deal since it seems like the seller is being upfront about the previous sale. 300K miles does sound unbelievable.

The pictures you have look good. Any engine pics?

Too bad you can't go see it though.
