want the car to stop better? get a 1LE front brake setup and ive found it doesnt matter what brake pads you get they all dust up and they all dont perform as well as they say. get advance cheap semi metallic pads. and besides the softer the pad the less they chew the rotor and you can most likely just get pads on your next brake job.

Agreed for the most part. I run the cheap stuff on everything. Dont bother with anything fancy out back especially. You probably have the junk iron calipers too.

I have Duralast rotors and Hawk HPS pads all around and they work great.

So tell me guys do you honestly think waisting your money on pads that will Most asuridly wear out. There worth the extra cost? I have never seen one benifit of one pad to another and I've installed pretty much every pad there is. Prove to me the "name brand" is worth it for a street car.

HPS pads are definitely not a "waist" of money. More importantly they are not a "waste" of money either. The car had GM rotors and some sort of generic pads on it when I bought it, and the brake performance with the setup I have now is MUCH better. And even though they will "asuridly" wear faster I think the "benifit" of increased performance is worth it, as could be said of, for example, drag radials. So I can tell you most assuredly that there is a benefit.

PYou also changed/bled your rear brakes and some other misc shit aid to better braking that pads aren't a a factor for. Say grease on caliper pins etc. So apples for apples and a new brake setup with off shelf pads vs. Brand name ebc hawk etc. Will not show a fuck bit of difference in normal braking/driving conditions. Waiste your money think your getting better shit but if you don't use your brakes hardddd like auto-x hard you will not see shit bit of a difference. Just my 2 cents.

P.s. drag radilas vs. M/s all seasons(if that's what you meant) is a pretty lame comparo on your part.
