Racetronix pumps and hotwire kits
Don, Just wondering if you can get these or have them on hand. Thinking my fuel pump might be on its way out. Would love to bring the car to you and have you tune and take a look at it, just hard to do it since it's my daily driver that gets me back and forth to work.
Thanks! Chad

We can get them. They don't go slowly bad. They just die and leave you stuck on the road. More than likely you have another issue.

When would be a good time to swing by and maybe have a quick look at if possible? Saturday's are usually best for me, but this weekend unfortunately I have a lot going on. Usually car only has the fuel issue after running for about an hour when it's already warmed up. Also more prevalent when outside temp is warmer than 75-80+ degrees.

i run the racetronix pump and wire kit on my car. works great. i used to runthe walbro 255 and had problems with two of them. the race one has been in the car going on three years. and it also does well with the spray.

Racetronix uses the walbro pump in there aluminum housing. Weird you had issue. Maybe heat and the hoising helps?
Big mac drop that shit off!!

Would love to, but it's my daily driver. Need it for work unfortunately and the wife has to drive the little one back and forth to school during the week so the other alternative is out of the question for now.

After about an hour or so of driving the car will act like it's starving for gas. It will start to chug and sputter and then die out. Trying to restart it right after without turning the key back and dash lights still on, it won't restart. But if you turn the key back one position from run and wait 15-30 seconds it will restart. Was thinking that it could possibly be a thermal protection switch in the fuel pump because of it resetting with no electrical load on it with the key off. Seems to happen a lot more frequent on hotter days. Got any guesses on what it could be?
Was thinking either fuel pump, or maybe the venturi wasn't reconnected correctly to fill the bucket, or the bucket has a hole or crack in it so the fuel level drops and doesn't keep the pump cool enough. Previous owner swears he changed the pump with a gmpp part. But I trust him about as far as my 4 yr old daughter can throw him.
