Default Need DBW advise.

Has anyone had any issues with the throttle by wire not responding. I am using an aftermarket harness for the LS1 I have tried 2 pedals, 2 harnesses, 2 TAC modules. Is it possible that the pedal only responds once the engine is running? Need to get this figured out. The people that made the harness so far have been no help.

Thanks Jim

key on engine off throttle body should move. tuning can cause some hasel with the bcm being gone? different? scan the codes it should pop up right away if there is a range problem with the comunication between the pedal sensor and ecm. also there should be a "tps" range as well. the pcm commands the tb closed to seat then opens it to the park when "key on engine off" occurs. there are some TSB's about this also. battery voltage is Critical on them as well. i have had them lose comm during crank if the voltage goes below 11 volts while cranking.

Just got off the phone with the company that made the harness, they said I needed to have the check engine light wire and the brake (Purple/green) wires run to 12 volt (making sure the brake lights are no tripped). If not then Slowhawk would be right on the tuning issue (not properly set up for DBW).

Thx Pizza I am going to scan for codes once we get her to crank back over. I should have stayed with the crappy looking truck harness.

It's running again? Have to buy some block off plates for the exhaust manifolds. Problem was in the tank, the siphon pipe was not capped properly.
