Default LT1 brakes

Just wondering what some of you guys are running for pads and rotors, particularly in the rear. I was looking at the EBC greenstuff pads and maybe getting some new rotors so what do ya'll like?

i dont see the point in expensive pads unless your going to USE them. and i mean 100+mph to zero stops. other wise any decent off the shelf pad will work just fine. and i like the look of drilled and slotted but i wont ever get them. make too much noise for me. again any white box rotor from advance or AZ will work just fine for the rear.

Also any clue if I can fit 15's over LT1 brakes?

The pads are only 55 bux or so from summit. I havent looked locally yet.

55 bux fuck that. i can get a complete rear brake setup pads/rotors for less then that. you can fit 15's but no 4th gen came with 15's. youll have to go aftermarket and why? just get a spacer for the front and run 4th gens all around.

The fronts require a 2" spacer and theyre damn expensive. I'll check fitment today with a spare 15" rim I have.

you might think it will be ok with just a random 15" wheel. some will fit. but its all in the hoop. if the hoop drops down too far wich most race wheels do to make them stronger and still have the 7.5 or 6.5 offset we need. then your gunna have to grind. only 15's ive seen so far that fit are the Summit Stars, welds dont fit. Billet Specialties. Convo Pros, and a small hand full of others but there non race wheels.
