Default 350/350 vs 350/370. whats the difference?

I know there was the 350/350hp LT1 and the 350/370hp LT1. But what was the 20hp difference there? My step dad has a 350/350 4 bolt 1970 LT1 block in his 68 corvette with domed pistons and the "350hp" solid lifter cam. There is an empty old box in my shed that has "370 cam" written on it in sharpie. My step dad doesn't remember much, but he thinks he put the cam in one of the engines we have laying around. Are the 370hp and 350hp cams different? I couldn't dig up anything on this maybe Dawg will bestow his knowledge.

The 350/350 was probably an L 79 327. The LT1 was rated at 370 hp in 1970 with Gross hp ratings. In 1971 it was rated at 330 hp with the lower compression ratio and in 1972 it was rated at 255 hp with the Net ratings.

Another show Lady- Why does your car say Corvette on the engine? We have a Corvette and your car doesn't look like one. LMFAO

I know back then when they wanted to jump HP, they liked to bump compression a lot. Look at a L88 427 and see how much power and compression it had vs a normal 427. The cams also probably have a good deal of duration difference. Probably not so much lift since valvetrains werent as stable back then.

**Edit** Ronnie beat me too it with the compression difference.
