MY 396ci LT1 TH400 build inside!
I've been all over the place with work and school, but I want to start to keep track of my winter build:
1994 Z28 convertible, T56 6-speed  This was my first car, I've had it for over 8 years now. It had 117k on it when I bought it, and it's at 160k now. I've been drag racing since I was 8 years old, and I've decided over the past year that this is the type of racing that I want to focus on in the future. I hope to see mid 10s at 130 MPH once we get it dialed in, powershifting 2nd gear in the air! So here's where we are now: Last year I did: -Wolfe 6-point roll cage welded in -Corbeau LG1 seats -Impact 6-point harnesses -Converted the interior from tan to black with new carpet -New convertible top Parts ordered/here to be installed at X-mas: -Quick Performance 9" rear, 35 spline Moser axles with 4.56 gears and a spool -UMI Chrome Moly Adj. Torque Arm -UMI Double Adj. Rod-ended Panhard Bar -UMI Double Adj. Rod-ended Lower Control Arms and relocation brackets -UMI convertible subframe connectors -Solid Wolfe drag race swaybar welded on -Denny's Nitrous Ready 1000HP 3.5" Driveshaft Now for everyone's favorite part, the engine: -Gil Davis built 396ci LT1 stroker, roughly 12.5:1 compression -Forged crank -Forged H-beam rods -Forged Diamond pistons -Custom Advanced Induction top end Couple of teaser pics:
